TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
All policies in place are subject to change as we deem necessary.
Terms:
We prefer payment through Pay pal, credit card, or cash for local sales. All animals must be paid in full before shipping.
We reserve the right to refuse sale to any individual or entity, for any reason.
Shipping:
We ship reptiles via FedEx Next Day Air Service in a bag or container within a foam insulated box and guarantee live delivery as long as someone is present to accept the package on first attempt. At this time we only ship Tuesdays and Thursdays due to our rural location. We can change shipping dates if necessary but prefer to ship on Tuesdays if at all possible. If for any reason the package is delayed for a Friday delivery, live arrival will not be guaranteed.
Delivery by FedEx Next Day Service is usually guaranteed by 10:30 am in most areas, or 12:00 pm in some remote or residential areas. In rare instances, Next Day Air deliveries are not guaranteed until end of day. In this case, if temperatures exceed 90ºF, we will require deliveries to be held at a FedEx hub for pick up. If temperatures are below 45ºF we will require hub pick up. This is for the safety of the animal. You must be available to sign for your animal or receive your package directly from the delivery driver upon first attempt or live delivery is not guaranteed. Heat or cool packs are used when necessary.
Local:
If you are local and would rather meet up than ship, we can arrange to meet somewhere. We have our preferred meeting places and will provide the address for you upon payment and scheduling of pick up for the animal. For safety reasons we do not accept pick up directly from our location.
Guarantee:
We guarantee the health of any animal purchased for 15 days pending review of your environment, and husbandry, including detailed info on your lighting setup and temps. We will replace the animal or credit the amount less shipping towards another animal if it should happen to get sick or die for no apparent reason. This does not include impaction, dehydration, housing with other animals (quarantine is required) or other reasons related to improper care or neglect. We expect to be contacted immediately if there is any change in your animals behavior related to decreased activity or appetite.
We cannot guarantee animals that are not housed according to our standards of care.
Sexing:
Sexing on animals is always probable but never guaranteed. We have a great history on correctly sexing our animals but nature is nature and we cannot 100% guarantee the sex on any animal that is not an adult.
Returns:
Due to the risk of transmitting illness, mites, infections, etc, we do not accept any returns. All sales are final.
Holds:
Partial payments or non-refundable deposits will be accepted as security to reserve an animal until full payment can be made. A hold will be placed on the animal for no longer than 1 week unless otherwise arranged. If shipment has not been arranged following the one week or agreed upon hold period, an additional $10 per week will be charged to retain the animal for no more than an additional two weeks. Only the initial deposit will be deducted from the balance of the animal. The deposit and all additional monies are non-refundable. All holds are null and void after the agreed upon days unless alternate arrangements have been made due to adverse weather. If payment in full is not made to arrange for final shipment within the agreed upon time frame, we reserve the right to resell the animal to the next interested buyer. Refunds on held animals will only be given in the form of credit towards another animal within a time period of 1 year. Due to the expense involved in housing these animals, there will be no exceptions.
